Senja Soka Centre
The 4 storey development comprises a columbarium, 9 prayer halls and rooms with a semi-basement carpark.
The “Hall of Gratitude” at the 4th storey is the main prayer hall. Being column-free, the hall can accommodate up to 500 people and is equipped with ancillary amenities like the foyer, toilets and preparation rooms.
The 8 prayer halls and rooms on other floors are designed as modular units with collapsible partitions and allow various layout configurations to accommodate the different uses. The building design also examines the concepts of the living skin as a climatic response to the tropical climate by allowing daylight, ventilation and greenery to filter through the building
